Lowcode DataVis App Art Direction
Diagramming framework to build & deploy advanced visual apps faster
- UI / UX
- Web Design
- Illustration
- Naming
- Branding

Mission / Challenge
Create a new brand (logo, styleguide and a landing page) for a modular Data Vis application.
Services / Technologies
Brand research, naming workshops, and design work in Figma and Illustrator.
Outcome
A new app name, logo, brand visual language, and a landing page.
Impact
The diagramming library let businesses, from startups to established SaaS companies, build and deploy data visualizations faster instead of building charting from scratch.
Ran a naming workshop: 8 participants, 12 hours, 63 Miro slides, 15 candidate names. We voted individually, then tested the strongest candidates with 68 employees to see which ones actually landed, narrowing the list to 6 for real-world testing.

Tested the 6 finalists from every practical angle: search results, domain availability, trademark classes, and social handles across YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Google Maps. Vislabs came out on top.

Explored a range of logo directions before settling on a mark built to stay recognizable at any size, not just look good in a deck.

Built the color palette and typography system, balancing personality with accessibility so the visual identity reads as professional without sacrificing readability.

Developed a line-based, isometric illustration style through several iterations, refining the balance between simplicity and detail until it could explain complex ideas without feeling technical.

Designed a clean, modular UI and data-visualization style built around one goal: making complex information easy to read at a glance, not just easy to look at.

Designed a landing page built around one job: get the product's value proposition across fast, with a clear path from first scroll to call to action.
